Angel Cancino

Sannyas: Sufi Anand Sambado

(the seeker who finds bliss in communion)

Angel is a social entrepreneur who has developed a keen spirit of service working and volunteering within the nonprofit and social sectors for over ten years. In 2020, Angel became the new founder of Higher-Self Friendly.

As a facilitator and yoga instructor, Angel focuses on appreciating and honoring the roots of yoga and its social justice origins.  His regular meditation and yoga practice has helped him establish a solid foundation for his physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Angel describes himself as a seeker of bliss in communion, a creative, passionate and caring individual, who is committed to his personal and spiritual growth, as well as the growth, wellness and prosperity of his community.

Angel is happy to have the opportunity to lead with his heart and share HSF’s vision with others who are also seeking a deeper connection within promoting a sense of interdependence and collaboration rather than competition. He truly feels that collective efforts are essential for meaningful change, including building alliances, supporting other advocates, and working together towards common goals.
